Valentines Day Gift Ideas

a guy at my work likes me. he bought me a rose. problem is that i think he might be a gangster/player type. he wears baggy pants, those colorful bape style hoodies, and owns a grill. he is nice to me, buys me food, calls me beautiful/sweetie, and has never physically made a move on me. he says he is always thinking about me, texts me often, and has asked me out to the movies. he asked me to be his valentine and tells me he is driven to get me, even though I told him my parents might not approve. he said the rose is not my v-day present, just a prelude to a special present. please offer me some advice, wise people of Yahoo Answers! I do not know if he is a thug, but my other co-workers keep telling me that he just wants to get laid. I don't know if this is relevant but he is African American and they are not. I myself am Asian. I want to give him a chance but I am afraid of getting hurt.
